Original Paintings
Are your paintings original?
Yes. Every painting is an original artwork created by me.
What materials do you use?
Materials vary by piece and may include oil, acrylic, and mixed media on canvas or wood panel. Specific materials are listed in each product description when applicable.
Are your paintings framed?
Not currently. Some artworks have attached D-rings on the back. Others may require framing depending on your needs and preference. If you would like specific hardware attached the the back of the work please contact me at aloversburden@gmail.com within 24 hours of placing your order so I can install it on your piece.
What hanging hardware can you install?
D-rings, O-rings, or sawtooth hangers.
How are original paintings packaged and shipped?
All artwork is carefully packaged to help ensure safe transit. Paintings are wrapped with protective materials such as bubble wrap and acid-free glassine paper to help protect the surface during shipping. My paintings are my babies, so I do everything in my power to swaddle them up for a safe transit.
Once delivered, please ensure packages are not left outside for extended periods. Exposure to heat, cold, moisture for extended periods may cause damage to the artwork. The artist is not responsible for damage that occurs after a successful delivery due to these conditions.
Vinyl Stickers
Are your stickers waterproof?
Yes. All vinyl stickers are printed on premium waterproof, weather-resistant vinyl designed for durability.
Where can I use the stickers?
Stickers can be applied to smooth clean surfaces such as laptops, water bottles, journals, phone cases, sketchbooks, and more.
Are stickers dishwasher safe?
While waterproof, hand washing is recommended to preserve print quality and extend longevity.
Orders & Shipping
How long will my order take to ship?
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days. When ordering an original artwork please allow for 2-7 business days for processing. I always do my best to get orders out as quickly as possible but I am only a one women show.
When can I expect my order to arrive after it's been shipped?
Canada 2-8 days
United States 4-10 days
Europe 6-15 days
Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs processing, weather delays, or postal service disruptions. If you would like live tracking, please make sure to select it at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, shipping is available to most countries worldwide. If your location is not available at checkout, please contact me at aloversburden@gmail.com and I will do my best to add it in the future.
Will I receive tracking information?
In order to see tracking information please make sure to select a shipping option with tracking before checkout. All tracked orders will receive a tracking number when your order has been shipped.
Will colours look exactly the same in person?
Due to differences in screen settings and lighting, colors may vary slightly from what you see on your device.
Returns, Refunds & Issues
Due to the nature of original artwork and print goods, all sales are final.
Refunds and exchanges are not offered.
What if theres an issue with my order?
If there is an issue with your order upon arrival, please contact me as soon as possible. While refunds are not provided, I will always review concerns fairly and work with you to come to a fair resolution when possible. Expectations are only made for individuals who received incorrect or damaged items. This does not apply if the item is damaged by weather elements after it has successfully been delivered.
My order arrived damaged what can you do?
I always ensure that everything shipped out is in protective packaging for both yours and my ease of mind. However, I understand that shipping companies are known to get crazy with packages. If your order arrives damaged please ensure to take photo and or video documentation of the damages, and email me ASAP at aloversburden@gmail.com or via the contact form.
I didn't put the right address what can I do?
Before placing a purchase ensure that you put the correct address in. If the item hasn't been shipped yet please contact me ASAP. If the order has already been shipped out and gets returned back to me, you will need to pay for it to be reshipped to you.
Custom Commissions
Do you take custom commissions?
Not currently, but I might open commissions in the future.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
Purchasing an original painting grants ownership of the physical artwork only. It does not transfer any copyright or intellectual property rights.
The artist retains full rights to all artwork, including but not limited to the image, design, and underlying concepts. The artist may reproduce, distribute, and commercially use images of the artwork in any format. This includes, but is not limited to, prints, stickers, merchandise, promotional materials, and digital use for marketing or portfolio purposes.
By purchasing, you agree that the artwork and its image may not be used for commercial purposes, reproduction, resale, or redistribution without prior written permission from the artist.
